Welcome to UTAS. For a smooth transition to UTAS, attending orientation is a must!
UTAS is committed to ensuring that all students are well equipped to commence their university life. Orientation marks the beginning of semester for new students and is designed to help you settle into university. During Orientation Week you will be provided with information to fully prepare you for the start of your university career, in addition to an introduction to the services and facilities available on each campus.
Orientation will help you find your way around campus, provide an introduction to your studies and put you in touch with the staff within your area of study, other students and all the services available to you. Orientation is about becoming familiar with your surroundings and knowing where to go for help should the need arise. Put simply, if you miss out on orientation you will be missing out on essential information and lots of fun!
When is Orientation Week?
