Personal Support Services

Student Services

Student Services coordinates support services for students and includes the following:

Career Development and Employment Service

The Career Development and Employment Service can help you to clarify important career issues, assist you with your career decisions and provide many services to support you to take charge of your future.

Counselling Service

The Counselling Service offers free, professional and confidential help with personal and academic problems.

Cross Cultural Support (CALD)

The Cross-Cultural Support Service assists students from a Culturally & Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background (migrants and students holding humanitarian visas) and members of UTAS staff in their interactions with these students.

Disability Service

The Disability Service assists students with a chronic health condition or a disability to participate fully in university life.

Transition Support Service

The purpose of the Transition Support Service is to assist you to adjust to university life and to help to resolve any issues that may be affecting your university studies.

Child Care

There is a Child Care Centre located at both the Hobart and Launceston campus.

Religious Support

Religious Support is available to students of all beliefs.

Riawunna

Riawunna provides academic, cultural and social support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
